1. Definition of side channel blower:
side channel blower refers to the fan whose wind pressure is 30 kPa~200 KPa or compression ratio e=1.3~3 under design conditions. At present, the air-ring vacuum pump is generally classified as a side channel blower in the industry. High-pressure blower is also called high-pressure blower, which is different from general centrifugal blower.
There are different appellations for side channel blowers at home and abroad.

2. Working Principle of High Pressure Fan:
When the impeller rotates, due to the centrifugal force, the impeller impels the gas to move forward and outward, thus forming a series of spiral movements. The air between blades of impeller rotates spirally and squeezes the gas outside the pump body into the side groove (inhaled by the suction port). When it enters the side channel, the gas is compressed and then returns to the blade of impeller to accelerate the rotation again. When air passes through impellers and side grooves along a spiral track, each impeller blade increases the degree of compression and acceleration. As the rotation proceeds, the kinetic energy of the gas increases, which further increases the pressure of the gas passing through the side channel. When the air reaches the connection point between the side groove and the discharge flange, the gas is extruded from the blade and discharged from the pump body through the outlet muffler.

IV. Product Classification
Fans are classified according to the direction of gas flow
Fans can be divided into centrifugal, axial, diagonal and cross flow types. When the centrifugal fan works, the impeller is driven by the power machine (mainly the motor) to rotate in the volute casing, and the air is sucked from the center of the impeller through the suction port. Because of the dynamic action of the blade on the gas, the pressure and velocity of the gas are increased, and under the action of centrifugal force, the gas is thrown along the blade passage to the casing and discharged from the exhaust port. Because the flow of gas in the impeller is mainly in the radial plane, it is also called the runoff fan.
Classification by number of built-in impellers
According to the number of built-in impellers, it can be divided into single-stage fan, double-stage fan and three-stage fan. At present, the common types of side channel blowers on the market are single-stage fans and double-stage fans.
The design of single-stage side channel blower has only one impeller with small air volume, which can meet the needs of installing in food machinery, pharmaceutical machinery, material conveyor, printing machinery, industrial dust collection equipment, woodworking machinery, plastic machinery, textile machinery and other equipment.
The two-stage side channel blower has two impellers, which have faster speed and larger air volume. It can meet the needs of machinery and equipment with large air volume, high wind pressure and high speed operation.
