Mid-Autumn Festival origin

National Day origin
National Day specifically refers to the National Day of the People's Republic of China, observed annually on October 1st. On this day in 1949, the Central People's Government of the People's Republic of China was proclaimed, marking the founding of New China. Since then, October 1st has been celebrated nationwide as a grand holiday to commemorate the country's independence and birth.
